Beautiful ring-turned animals, hand-carved and hand-painted by master craftsman Christian Werner in his Erzgebirge workshop,are the highlight of this collection which also includes the flat bottom Ark with gangplank, Noah and his wife, and a rainbow. The 18 animal pairs include horses, giraffes, cows, donkeys, pigs, elephants, camels, sheep, geese, goats, mountain goats, black chickens, white chickens, two different breeds of dogs, ducks, polar bears and doves. All the animals can be stored in the Ark, which measures: 22cm x 9cm x 14cm (LxWxH).

This collection received a Deutscher Designpreis Holzspielzeug (German Design Prize for Wooden Toys) honorable mention in 2004.

More ring-turned animals can join the Ark and are sold separately in groups of twelve (six pairs per group). Five additional groups of animals are available. The animals in a group are unique to that group—there are no duplicates. The animals are ring-turned, hand-carved, and hand-painted by Christian Werner.

Also sold separately, Mount Ararat is made of light wood parts that are joined together. The Ark fits snugly under the rainbow atop Mount Ararat, and the four tiers will accommodate 96 animals.
